Vietjet selects SR Technics as a strategic partner for Component Services
SR Technics, one of the world’s leading providers of technical solutions to airlines, announced today that it had signed a six-year Integrated Component Service Support (ICS) agreement with Vietjet, on February 17, 2016, at the Singapore Airshow. The contract will further strengthen SR Technics’ position as a world-class provider of maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) services on the Asia Pacific market.
As a selected strategic partner, SR Technics will provide Integrated Component Services for Vietjet’s Airbus A320 and A321 fleet starting in March 2016 onwards. Vietjet’s home base is located in Ho Chi Minh City with key support functions in Vietnam, Southeast Asia. In early 2015 Vietjet selected SR Technics as its long-term partner for CFM56-5B Engine Services and this new contract further expands the relationship between the two companies.
