SR Technics announces the winners of the Best Supplier Awards 2016
SR Technics celebrated the Best Supplier Awards 2016 as part of the MRO Europe in Amsterdam. The awards were launched in 2013, making this the third consecutive edition.
The Best Supplier Awards were established to recognize outstanding component suppliers. Five areas are considered when selecting winners: delivery, customer support, quality, contract/cost competitiveness, and strategy/continuous improvement.
In keeping with the key procurement and business objectives of SR Technics, the awards aim to encourage collaborative and sustainable business partnerships in order to ensure the provision of industry-leading customer service all along the value chain.
The winners of the Best Supplier Awards 2016:
• Best OEM Supplier: Moog Inc.
• Best MRO Supplier: PAT - Precision Aero Technology
• Most Improved Supplier: Thales
All three winners received a hand-blown glass sculpture of a man holding up an airplane, symbolizing quality, reliability, strength and support between SR Technics and its partners.
Brian Gillett, Vice-President of Procurement Component Services at SR Technics, is responsible for organizing the awards, and comments: “We are pleased to recognize the high standards and the commitment of our winners. Component suppliers not only play an important role in the services that SR Technics provide, they are critical to the entire industry and especially our customers.”
