SR Technics appoints new Head of its Engine Services business unit
SR Technics, a world leading MRO service provider, is pleased to announce the appointment of Owen McClave as Senior Vice President Engine Services, effective as of January 1, 2019 and reporting directly to Jean-Marc Lenz, Chief Operating Officer. He will succeed Roberto Furlan, who has decided to step down.
Owen McClave is a senior level executive with strong commercial and financial acumen. Over three decades of work with OEMs, independent MROs and leasing companies, mainly on engine and component business, he has increased the operational excellence of a range of organizations in the aviation industry. Owen McClave has also served as a member on numerous boards and as an active member on several executive committees. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants and holds a Bachelor in Science (Management) and Master’s degrees from Trinity College, Dublin.
Commenting on the appointment, Jean-Marc Lenz, Chief Operating Officer at SR Technics, said: “I am very pleased to welcome Owen in our senior management leadership team.
