A new face for Australia - Area Sales Director, Abdel Rahman B. Farah
SR Technics, a world leading MRO service provider, is pleased to announce the appointment of Abdel Farah as Area Sales Director for the Asia, Australia and Indonesia market. Abdel joined SR Technics in February 2015 as a Customer Program Manager, moving to the Commercial Department in March 2019 with the responsibility of the marketing and sales strategy as well as customer relations. With over 20 years of service in the Aircraft Maintenance Repair & Overhaul business, Abdel is an experienced aviation professional, who is based in Melbourne, Australia. Abdel will also serve as – Managing Director - SR Technics Australia Pty Ltd.
Throughout his broad journey, Abdel held various positions in Business Development, Program- & Customer Relationship Management. Prior to joining SR Technics, Abdel was a Customer Relationships/Business Development Manager for John Holland Aviation Services in Melbourne, Australia. His career started in 1996 in Abu Dhabi, U.A.E with Airbus (former European Aeronautics Defense and Space Company (EADS), he later joined Etihad Engineering (Former ADAT) whereby he managed the MRO sales & marketing activities related to Airframe and Component maintenance service in ME, Asia, Russia and Turkey regions.
Abdel holds a Bachelor degree in Aeronautical Engineering from Glasgow University and a Master of Science in Aviation Management from Griffith University, Brisbane, Australia.
