SR Technics signs multi-year contract with Lion Air
SR Technics, one of the world’s leading providers of technical solutions to airlines, today announce the signing of a six-year integrated component services contract with the Indonesian low-cost carrier Lion Air. SR Technics has been expanding its presence in South East Asia over the past few years and today marks a new milestone in the pursuit of its international growth strategy.
Beginning November 2015, SR Technics will take full responsibility for managing Lion Air’s integrated component support services for its A330 fleet. The contract covers component maintenance and flexible availability solutions, including the management and maintenance of components (part numbers) under a flight hour rate.
Services will be managed from SR Technics’ Center of Excellence for component maintenance in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and from its operational headquarters in Zurich. The contract also includes on-site support, pool access, logistics and leasing facilitation.
