SR Technics Malaysia celebrates its 10,000th certified component
Since its opening in April 2014, SR Technics Malaysia has repaired 10,000 components for various customers. The 10,000th part was certified on the 29th of March 2016.
SR Technics Malaysia has capabilities for 540 part numbers with a focus on the Airbus A320 family, the A330, the A340 and the Boeing 737NG, and the company is in the process of adding 200 more part numbers by end of 2016.
Furthermore, SR Technics is actively seeking new opportunities to expand its Malaysian operations. In addition to Asia, the company has recently attracted new customers from Europe who benefit from the lower transportation costs due to consolidated shipments to and from Zurich, London, Dubai and other selected locations.
SR Technics has a 160,000 square foot facility in Kuala Lumpur and the company employs 150 people in Malaysia. With an average 12-day turnaround, the company offers services to over 400 contracted customers.
